We're Jennifer and Danm, two longtime podcasters trying something new.
Basically Passive is a documentary series that follows us as we attempt to build and scale a side hustle into some meaningful income... from scratch.
Our first experiment: Sweet Robo's Cotton Candy VX, a robotic vending machine that spins cotton candy into 30 different shapes (butterflies, stars, hearts, you name it). Six colors. Toppings. The whole thing takes 90 seconds and looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.
We invested in the machine. We're placing it somewhere in the Seattle area. And every week, we're documenting exactly what happens.
The good stuff. The disasters. The real revenue numbers. The locations that said no. The ones that said yes. What it actually costs. What we actually make. No hype. No fake Lamborghinis. No "passive income secrets" from people who make their money selling courses about passive income.
Just two people figuring it out and showing you everything.
Why are we doing this? Because we've seen all those "I make $5K a month from vending machines" videos too. And we wanted to know: is it real?
Can two regular people with no vending experience actually make this work?
